    AU Midi issue
Hi Folks I am using the Steinberg Grooveagent as an AU.I want to isolate the snare on a rock kit in order to add a different reverb to it.On the Grooveagent I route the snare to midi channel 2.In logic i create a track with "create track' giving me two au tracks loaded with the same instrument. If I set track one to midi port1 and track two to midi port 2 nothing seems to happen .Both ports change together ie if 1 is one two by default is also 1.Please help. many thanks laurence

I'm not familiar with this plugin but here's the procedure to do that. 1-Open the plugin as a multi-channel instrument (not as a stereo or mono instr). 2-Select a different channel for your snare in the Groove Agent AU window. 3-Select (or create) a new AUX track in your arrange window. 4-In the AUX channel strip I/O slot, select the corresponding instrument output. You can then apply different FX for the snare using the AUX inserts and sends.

Hi Christian Thanks for the tip.It worked for the Hypersonic but not for the Groove Agent so I guess not all Steinberg plug ins are multi timbral so to speak. Thanks for the help. cheers laurence
