    mc909 logic
Hi there does anyone out there know if i can use the roland mc909 to control logic. I've got the pads working but it would be nice to use the D.Beam controllers on some synths in logic. thanks

Hi Cheese! If the D Beam of the MC909 sends out controller messages, then it should work. Try this as an exemple: 1-Put a ES1 on a Audio Instrument track. 2-Go to : Logic - Preferences -Control Services -Controller Assignments... A window will appear... it looks like a floating window but does'nt act like one, so it can disappear behind your other windows. 3-Make sure "Learn Mode" is activated on the Controller Assignments window. 4-Move the Cutoff of the ES1. 5-Use the D Beam of the 909. 6-Click on "Learn Mode" to finish learning assignments. 7-The D Beam should now control the Cutoff of the ES1. Tell us if it works.
