Switcher guides - Mac OSX Tiger
Hi Is there anywhere I can download the free switcher tutorial for XP to OSX Tiger or did that version never exist? At the moment there is just the Leopard (in production) version. Cheers :) mac

There never was a tiger version. The switcher's guides are a brand new tutorial series for us. I'll be finishing the XP to Leopard version after the holidays, so we'll have it posted as soon as possible!

Hi Yak & Welcome to the MacProVideo Forums! don't cry ;-) Mac OS X is a beautiful operating system and easier (in my opinion) to learn than Windows. Remember if you have any questions on using OS X or your new macbook pro etc pop in here and ask - we'll do our best to help. :-) Rounik

Hi Yak, Like you, I am waiting for the Switcher's Guide from Windows to Leopard and despite what Rounik says, there is no substitute for being shown, step-by-step, what to do. This is what makes this site such a boon for those of us who do not have the time to RTFM. Like you, I have yet to take delivery of my Mac and I have read a few books on switching, but am still eagerly awaiting this tutorial, which seems to have been cursed with delays from its inception. I must admit to being a little concerned as all mention of it as WIP seems to have dissapeared from the website. I don't suppose for one minute that Martin will let us down and not have it ready for 31 Jan, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed - just in case. Regards, Wheetman

I doubt that it has been cancelled. I have found, in all my dealings with this outfit, that they are an honourable and helpful bunch - that is why I stick with them. My guess is that it is just an oversight and we will have something to behold come the 31st. Still keeping my fingers crossed nonetheless. I've been wrong before:-) Wheetman

We just didn't have enough time to finish before leaving for the Macworld and NAMM tradeshows last week ... sooo many last minute things always and unexpectedly pop up ... :( But it will be done for January 31st ... I promise!

Hello Martin, A Happy New Year to you and all the team. I never doubted it for a moment..... Well, only in the time it took me to cross my fingers, just in case. Kindest regards, Wheetman
