Automation and advanced recording techniques.

Hi Steve, I was wondering if you could elaborate about automation (copy and pasting fragments of automation to different tracks). I would also like to learn more advanced recording techniques. Kind Regards Bal

I come from ProTools TDM and I did tons of mixing in ProTools. If I should compare ProTools - Logic 7 = Protools will win. But if we put ProTools - Logic 8 = Logic is a winner to me. So as for now I actually dumped ProTools completely (to expensive; you need to buy all plugins; RME is the best sounding I/O for me). This is only my opinion and If protools works for some one else better - so be it. Bal

i would like to add that I just finished my first CD project in Logic 8; recording; mixing and mastering and I am really happy. I don't think that I would be able to get such great quality in ProTools (I am still talking TDM not LE). bal

Jumps between cuts
Aug 22nd, 2009, 09:19
I am completely new to Final Cut (my first day learning) I am experiencing jumps between cuts. I put together few clips and all was good... I have no idea what I did - after applying smoothcam to one of my clip, there are short jumps between all my cuts. Please help anyone.
