Hi, I have created a cycle and an auto punch within the cycle. The first time around I press record and it will go into record mode and auto punch works, as soon as it repeats record mode drops out and it will not auto punch. I want it to record on each pass. Did I not understand the Logic Pro manual on page 371 "Combinining Cycle and Autopunch Recording" to say that I could do this?

Hi, I have a Tascam Fw-1082 and can not get my foot switch plugged into it to work for punch ins. I have tried several footswitches that are known good with no luck. Thanks

Thanks anyhow, I contacted Tascam and they walked me through assigning the footswitch to activate the record button, there is no "punch out" but it works.

Hi, I downloaded the update and it gave no instructions and no folder on desktop. I can't find it anywhere! Any ideas? Thanks

I did use Software Update. In Logic Pro>About Logic Pro still reads 8.0.0. In System Preferences>System/Software Update>Installed Updates it reads that 8.0.1 was installed.

The 7 meg download is only some security feature according to Apple. The full download is 107 meg killer for us dial up people. I hope it's worth it. You MUST keep your Logic icon in your Application Folder and can not drag it to your Desktop and have it update. I am coming from PC land this is different! The path does not follow the icon? This may be the cause of many problems people are having with software asking "where are files?", but I am not a programmer, soooo. I just saw your App Folder message as I was submitting this. I did have it on my Desktop!
