Hi Steve, Just loaded a Grand Piano (EXS) in Logic and recorded a few bars. In a new track opened Omnisphere and selected a piano, copied the original piano region to the Omnisphere track and it played... Does this answer your question? Cheers, Bj

Hi Guys, If you don't already know... there's a new software update: 1.0.2d for Omnisphere... It addresses a few annoying, mysterious little 'issues' that we've all probably come across... That said... I am really enjoying this Synth... every day a new discovery... Cheers, Bj

Hi Jodie, Just to add my 2 cents worth... I've been using the EDIROL PCR M50 for a few months now and am very happy with it. Just had to install the necessary drivers (very painless) and was up and running in no time at all. Also found Roland On Line Support nice and friendly. Cheers, Bj

Hi Jodie, I have the PCR M50 and I don't remember seeing a PCR 500 when I bought mine... I think it's a later model... Also the PCR 500 appears to have extra features. Not sure of the price difference between the two, but check out their 'Tech Specs' and see which one most appeals.. Happy Shopping... : ) Cheers, Bj

Hi Jodie, I live in Australia, there's only a couple of hours time difference between us... The 500 also has 18 Velosity Pads, the 50 has none... As I said, I don't think the 500 was around when I bought the 50, but it may have been... If you think the extra features will be of value to you go for the 500... I'm very satisfied with the 50, it fulfills my requirements at the moment... Cheers, Bj ( :
