Hi Kenny Q, I totally agree with Christian... leave logic and all other applications on your system disk and move 'other files' to external HD's. For example I have 3 external HD's (of various capacities) one for writing logic projects to, another for photos, movies, documentation, etc... and a third that is used only for system back up. I've been using this system for a couple of years and have not encountered any problems. Plus it helps keep 'things' organised and easy to find. Hope this helps... :) Cheers, Bj

Hi Rounik, If I drag the Channel strip folder to a Burn Folder, (which makes an alias of it) will I be able to SAFELY burn it to DVD, as a back up, and not cause any problems with Logic trying to find it? I am almost positive it will be fine, but I'd like a second opinion... Cheers, Bj :)

I too have encountered this annoying trait of certain 3rd party plugins and have resolved it by doing as Christian and Revo do.. Also if a track contains many reverbs and/or delays I tend to leave a couple of extra empty bars at the end so everything can tail off and wind down. Cheers, Bj
