Hi Rounik: Yeah...I created a new instrument and zone for each sample. There are 20 samples and if I click on, say, middle c on the editor kybd /controller, all play at once. Also created a new instrument and zone for each sample when I brought it into EX. You mean the 'disable pitch' box in the zone edit box, right? They were already off /disabled so nothing changed....everything still plays at once.

Hi Rounik: I'm using 7.1..... I've been following the steps you outlined, but its pretty time consuming, yes? So a few times I loaded multi samples thinking that would speed things up a bit.....which is the problem I think. I'm loading them one at a time and that's working . I'd like to organize these sound effects in the GUI the same way as the factory sounds....with sub-folders. i.e. Sound Effects [arrow] then the individual effects listed. How could I do that? thanks Braden

Hi Rounik: Yes, I did check Redmatica out briefly a year or 2 ago, but not in any great depth. I wasn't using EX too much at the time and probably didn't really get what Redmatica was.... Me again...... I've been saving these sounds in a separate folder,as you said but some of them don't seem to show up in the new folder or when one is added, another disappears. Am I crazy or is that possible ? Some of them were previously saved to 'sampler insts.' and I move them over from there... thanks Rounik

I know this is a basic question, but I've imported some organ samples from a CD rom which had LFO modulation built into them....... When I play the sample back in EX, the mod wheel has no effect. How do I set that in the Ex sampler ? Thanks

Hi: My EXS has suddenly stopped working when I load a sample .....as in... the sound loads from the drop down, but no sound when I play my controller....no activity in the channel strips. Ivory software is not sounding as well. EX does play back samples used previously in a Logic song...but not in real time I haven't changed anything lately and I think I've checked everything related to audio. I'm loading them from aliases.....the actual audio samples I have on a separate drive Anyone know what this might be ? Thanks

Hi Rounik: No, actually I forgot to mention....none of the Logic Insts are sounding either. My controller also isn't sounding when set to its midi channel [ local off] Didn't try a new project yet..... I'm using 7.1 with a Motu 828 Mk 2. Software monitoring is on... thanks B.

Hi Rounik The capslock keyboard seems to work fine with all the software insts. in my autoload as well as a new project. But still no response in a new project when I use my controller. Now what ? B
