I am fighting with my set-up trying to figure out what happened. I got macbook pro OS 10.58 running Logic Pro 9, I have an apogee duet with a MXL 3000 microphone. Just the other day my mic stopped working and all I can get is a fuzz sound when I turn on the input to record. I do not know how to trouble shoot this problem and get my mic back?? Please help me I need to record my artist's vocals soon! Thanks

Rounik Thanks for the speedy response!! Unfortunately this did not fix the problem :( Is there anything I should check in audio prefrences or settings? Could the Apogee Duet not be working properly? I am lost and have already been working on this for a couple days. Thanks again

Thank you!! there was a new driver to install on the apogee website and I switced to a new XLR cable and magic!! input 1 is still really fuzzy?? but input 2 is clear Thanks for your help

I just got a motif rack, and would like to learn how I can set this up to run thru my MIDI keyboard into Logic. I am using a AKAI MPK49 that connects to my CPU with USB and works great. I would like to be able to plug in the motif rack into the keyboard and play those sounds as MIDI. Is this possible? Thanks

I got a new hard drive installed in my macbook Pro, and I had to re-install Logic. When I open Logic it will not remember my serial number and wants me to enter it every time. Is there something I need to do to make sure my copy of Logic is authorized to me?? Let me know if you need more info, thanks for all the support at MPV

I just upgraded to a new macbook pro 2.2 GHz i7 with Lion. I installed Logic 9 (and updated) with all my 3rd party plug-ins. On my old CPU I used pluggo audio unit manger to sync all my plug-ins. My question is does Logic need an AU separate Au manager, even though it has one already? and if it does what is a good program to use. I have analog factory from arturia that will not validate in Logic's AU manger? Let me know if you need any more info, and thanks for all the help

Thanks for the help Rounik! I found out that if I run logic in 32 bit all my old plug-ins work. My buddy at guitar center told me,that an insider from apple said most plug-ins will not work with Lion for another year :( I'll wait and see what happens. Thanks for all the help at MPV

I cannot hear audio play while I have midi instruments playing. I have a drum loop in ultrabeat and when I play my Roland fantom G8 thru input 1, I can hear sound when ultrabeat is not playing or when in record mode. I cannot listen to my drums and play the keyboard at the same time. All software is latest version. Other products Roland Fantom G8 with mono cord into input 1 of duet. logic Pro 9 Mac OSX Lion Apogee duet - maestro 2
