Hi While I tried to Drag and Drop from Final Cut 6 101 DVD to my desktop, it copies only the FCP101.prgm but the NED does not get copied on my desktop and gives a message like "the alias "Headers" cannot be copied to the destination, perhaps because the destination does not support this type of alias." It is inconvenient to play the DVD always for tutorials. Could you help me with this? Thanks Tulu

Hi Please help me regarding dubbing dialogue and music into FCP. Please describe the step by step process. How can I connect external microphone with FCP, what interface I need, how can I synchronize my external midi sequencer with FCP so I can dub the musi which I composed in my sequencer and it will sync with every scene and will go on time. Also how can I synchronize my recorded material in logic pro 7 with FCP. I use MAC G5, I have a RME Fireface sound card for my Logic Pro 7. Thanks in advance. Tulu

Hi I shooted in PAL using Sony HVR-Z1U. when trying to capture i set the PAL 48khz in Device Control and Capture/input as well as I am playing in a Sony HVR-M15U deck which has PAL for play but it does not show anything(clips i filmed in PAL) in the the FC window but if i play NTSC, it shows my clips. Even when I am plaing in TV it shows the PAL clips. Could you solve my problem? Do I need to set up anything in my FC? Thanks Tulu

Hi I did a very silly mistake. When I first opened my Sony HVR M15U MiniDV Deck, I was expecting that the format will be changed by itself whenever or whichever format recorded cassette I put and play. I put a PAL recorded cassette and did not have any image and the deck itself has no LCD display where I can see the menu. So I hooked it with my TV and got the menu, changed to PAL and got the image. Hi I dont know much about it because I am a newcomer in editing but I had the same problem. I solved this by: after blacking the tape I play couple of second without recording in my HVR Z1U then I start shoot. Another way was in the begining of the recorded tape I deleted couple of seconds and then tried to capture and it worked. Because when I filmed, I filmed from the very begining so it could not see the timecode I guess. I might be wrong, I am just guessed and it worked. Thanks Tulu
