Re: Click track for drummer during...
I have been working through the configuration for the click track for the drummer and I have several questions.
How do you properly set the backing track mixed in mono and the click track on its own on other channel?
When going out of ALT 3-4 from the desk, I need to mute channel 15-16, and then send the signal via 1/4'' to channel 1 for the main mix, and the click track in channel 2.
(Bear with me on this question) Is there such a thing as a dedicated click track that is a channel strip setting??
In general, I need to make sure that the mix form logic is properly set prior to being routed to the desk. This is the only step that is giving me difficulty. I am getting audio out form channel 15-16 via the firewire 1-2, and I'm able to route the signal into the control room/headphones.
In regards to performances, I do most of the "live" music mixing during gigs and then we send the signal to the house if they have a PA system. I have been wanting to use logic while in a live situation, but its been a hurdle trying to have drummers sit in. I play in a jazz band, and we enjoy electronic sounds over the straight ahead stuff we do. Here is our website if you would be interested to hear what we do. The first track is all done on logic and the rest are live.
Again thank you and I look forward to your response:)
