Oh, I have a really good idea for a tutorial. Using Ultrabeat along with Hyperedit. The uses of the Hyperedit and it can be use ultrabeat sounds for drum sequencing. I have a heard great things about Hyperedit, but am finding hard to really use it to increase my productivity.

Can you explain how ? Thanks. :-) I thought .wav samples could not be imported to UB. I thought only .ubs files could be imported.

I am using MacBook Pro laptop for Logic with 2 GB of RAM already. However, Logic Studio is a CPU consuming program because of which I want to expand my RAM capabilities. However, it seems that 2GB is the maximum RAM you can have on a laptop. I can feel my computer not running Logic at its best. It runs fine but its the little things such as loop browsing takes is not as smooth, etc... They do affect my speed a little bit. What all things could I do to make Logic Studio run better on my computer with the RAM I have....

I have always had some problems understanding busses and auxes and really knowing when to apply them and actually use them creatively. I have noticed that many others have similar issues too. I think a tutorial on using busses and auxes with live examples on the different types of effects we could create out of them would be a great tutorial topic. Thanks. :)

Hi Steve and everyone, I am posting after a while as Tips and Tricks takes care of all the tricks I need or want but I want resolution to a situation. Basically, I am working on remix project. The original track and vocals in it with bass, kick and bass and even a bit of guitar. I basically want to carve out only vocals (or as much as possible) so that I can use other plug-ins for my remix. For example, I want to add a different kick drum, different bass lines etc. Can you think of any tricks are ideas by which I can achieve that or get the results as close as possible?
