Hey folks everytime I open Logic - I get a message " audio file "enter file name here".aif not found " search manually skip then of course the option of "skip all" comes up why ?? how do i fix this?? thanks jeff p.s. - I'm on vacation this week - that's why I have so many posts today - been putting up with these problems for too long

Hey Rounik You were absolutely right - I delete the files, and it worked - no audio files to search for!!! also helped with my other post in regards to saving the autoload song before closing -- now it only asks if i want to close the song when selecting a recent project versus asking to save the changes. thanks this has been bugging me for a while now Jeff

everytime I open Logic and I want to work on a recent project I get prompted to "close current song before opening new song ? Close? I understand this message because my autoload song is open, however why does it ask to save changes when I haven't made changes to the autoload song. Hey Guys Is it a good strategy to have the logic application located on one Hard drive, and your recorded tracks files etc... recorded to another hard drive? If so how do I do it properly? Jeff

I'm wondering about other internal drives - I want to dedicate one drive to Logic songs (projects) The hard drive that has all of my applications on it is 160GB and is getting full then I have a 500GB hard drive that I would like to dedicate to Logic songs I've heard this to be a good strategy for keeping logic speedy, or do I move my Logic application to another hard drive? what is the best scenario? I have 4 internal drives at my disposal 160GB - operating system and applications 500GB - logic 500GB - movies 750GB - for Backups jeff

I was experimenting with beat mapping and strip silence after watching Steve's tutorial. I beat mapped an entire song using the "beats from region" option. I then strip silenced my Kick track - many tiny regions were created of course. Now when I navigate on the arrange page or try to resize the arrange page - logic becomes sluggish and crashes ?????
