Problems in exporting with Final Cut
Is anybody having problems exporting a sequence with Quick movie? I have a video sequence, captured 16:9 (shooting was also 16:9). I see the sequence correctly in the viewer when in the canvas, but when I export it squeezes to 4:3. The same happened when I tried to use edit to tape mode, quick time conversion; no way it always change to 4:3. I check the settings and everything is correctly set to DV PAL 16:9 anamorphic. I do not know what to try more.

Hey, I had the same problem, actually it didn't have anything to do with FCP, but with the setting in QT. Did you check that in quicktime when you view the movie after your exort, the setting is like this: Go to the Presentation tab in QT player and toggle Conform Aperture to Production to see it unsqueezed. Check here for more info: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303928 Hope this helps! regards, kat
