    Project settings
I'm trying to find a surefire method of getting all of my sequence in the same compressor settings so when I want to play the video in the timeline I won't run across the the need to render screen. Generally when I insert a couple of video files and a couple pictures That I want to put into the sequence none of these match. So what is the best way to make sure these match each other in the sequence so they play in the timeline without rendering?

Hi, Welcome to the forums :) This is a big question to answer. What codecs, etc are you using for the clips? What are your sequence settings? Often, you can set the Canvas Window to 100% to view back the contents of the timeline in realtime without rendering. :) Rounik
