I always appreciate hearing other's perspectives on such a subjective art form, particularly when they are from somebody who presents concepts clearly and simply. Joe's insights are useful and help me think about where I may be able to improve my EQing, and in which situations I may choose to follow or ignore his guidance. Thanks, Joe!
This is a solid entry-level course covering the basics of EQ use. Recommended for beginner to intermediate level producers.
Even for a pro it's from time to time nice to look over another pro's shoulder. I enjoyed this course a lot. Maybe still you should tell students how important it is to filter out unneeded lows with a hpf on almost every instrument except maybe for bass instruments. This should be the first eq thing to do before they even think about cranking up the his and mids...Cheers, Thomas
This course is fantastic like the last in this series! Great teacher and great examples! Can't wait to check out the next one:) Good gig MacPro
Nice to have a light review of EQ's. For me it was refreshing. Nothing new for a pro, but good to keep your information fresh and see someone's perspective. Nice course!
Helpful course to remind you not to forget to overdo eq & not to forget the basics.
Great course, both for beginners, and a great refresher on the "core" knowledge of using EQ's. Clear and concise.
Great "From The Craddle" Like EQ Tips Thanks!...Peace:)
Nice to watch and simple to understand. Most common eq mistakes are exposed, and how to avoid them. A very good way to start understanding equalizers and they're use.
very nice course, always good to remember some important rules about EQs.
As someone with a basic knowledge of EQ, I found this course very useful.
Really an interesting course, very practical and useful. Very well explained and with clear examples. Really useful expecially for people that are beginning with the EQ practice. Great job!
