Remove the haze and "pop" the color of your video productions. Watch as Apple Courseware author Michael Wohl teaches you the secrets of color correction, using Apple's Color.
This all-new Color 1.5 tutorial is delivered at a staggering HD resolution of 1600 X 900 pixels ... more than enough to let you see the most minute detail as Michael Wohl (one of the original designers of Final Cut Pro) walks you through the color correction process.
If you're shooting or editing video, you need to understand how Color 1.5 integrates with Final Cut Pro to make amazing, pro-quality video. Use Color to remove the "haze" from typical consumer video recordings, or to enhance the saturation of only certain parts of a shot, such as an actors shirt. There is so much you can do with Color, that you need a pro with years of experience to show you the way.
In this 3-hour tutorial you'll learn all of the tricks, from primary and secondary color correction, to using masks and shapes so your color timing effects only a certain portion of the screen.
You'll also learn the secrets behind using the Vectorscope, Waveform Monitor, 3D Scope, and other Color 1.5 displays to scientifically analyze and restore video so it looks better in your productions than it does in real life. make your colors "pop" ... impress your friends and clients ... watch this tutorial!

I wasn't sure about this kind of online training, but I needed so much to start working with Color. After severals tries by myself, I decide to purchase the tutorial (thanks to the 50% off), and I have to say that was the best purchase I've ever made in Internet. Now I'm starting to color grade in Color. Thanks a lot.
Yes, Yes, Yes, I have watched 80% up to date and it gave me the ability I was looking for. That is my first experience with Color and I found it very satisfying.
First off I would have to say the Michael Wohl wrote the book on Color Correction. He not only take you through the functions of Color, but explains the "whys" of Color. Great for anyone who works with FCP and Color, beginner or expert.
Bought this tutorial when I got my Final Cut Studio 2009 because I thought I was time to learn Color and because I liked the quality of the ofter Final Cut Studios tutorial I have bought through this Company. I watched a great part of the Videos about a month back and experimented on some of my material while watching the tutorial and was amazed about the improvements you could make in the colorgrading on material I had all ready graded using the 3 way color corrector in Final Cut Pro. Today I wanted to do some primary coloring on a personal project and I thus started up this tutorial to see how it was done. Not advanced coloring, but the changes was a big improvement compared with the original video. This is a testament of the excellent quality of this tutorial
it's good for me
