Compress video for YouTube, the Internet, iPhone, iTV and more ... Compressor is the perfect tool!
After the video editing is finished, it's time to publish your work. Whether you're publishing it to a the Internet, YouTube, DVD disc, or your Apple TV, you'll need to shrink the final file size of your work, and Compressor is the perfect tool for the job.
Video compression is always a battle between file size and visual quality. But it doesn't always have to be a trade-off. Once you understand how video compression works, it's easier than you might think to make great looking video at amazingly small file sizes.
In just over 2 hours of tutorial-videos, macProVideo.com lead educator Michael Wohl walks you through the ins & outs of using Compressor to squeeze the best possible quality out of your videos while shrinking their file sizes to the limits of today's compression technology.
The theory of compression is fully covered here. You'll learn how keyframes work, explore the differences between constant bit rate (CBR) verses variable bit rate (VBR) compression, and learn when to use multi-pass instead of single-pass compression.
But this isn't just a theory class ... the practical aspects of compression are also discussed. For example, this tutorial-video even shows you how to optimize your videos for upload to YouTube, as well as devices including the iPhone and Apple TV.
It's important to ensure your videos look as good as they possibly can, regardless of the places you choose to deploy them. This tutorial-video will give you the skills you need to ensure that happens.
This is a comprehensive tutorial, but you don't need to watch the entire program. Use N.E.D.'s detailed menu system and search functions to quickly find topics that interest you.

Great The bet training out there. Training gave me a understanding of how to use the program but why the program works as it does. Good Job. Thanks REG
Instructive videos. Gave me a quick start. And it worked out! A nice pedagogical approach, makes it easy to follow the different steps. Perhaps the duration of the videos should not be more than 3 minuts, at a maximum. Anders
Good Job guys...te Tutorial is Great!!! thanks
One of the best to look at
These videos were just what I needed for some quick start learning.
This is a good training. It provides a good understaning on the feature and workflow of Compressor. I have benefited greatly from this training.
I really get to the point with your products. I can dind the specific question I have and answer it fairly quickly.
This is a good beginning for people who need to learn more about compression in general. It also provides valuable, time saving hints about Apple's Compressor program. It was worth the price, in my situation.
This tutorial was nice to get the basic skills for compressor. Try it!
I already know the basics of Compressor so when I got a hold of the tutorial I was somewhat frustrated. I thought I would learn more about how to improve the compression as what some people on the net is saying about Compressor 3.0. I've read on an article saying that you can get nice video if you get familiar about compression but it did not touch a lot how to do it. I was looking more tips especially about frame controls, but it only showed a short portion about it. Anyway I learned some stuff about workflow and some setup and that's it.
These tutorials had me compressing in just a few hours. Macprovideo, you did it again. There really is no other place to go to purchase learning tutorials. As always, I made another great purchase. User, Michael
Thank you Michael for such a comprehensive course on Compressor. Especially the way you address some of the problems with web streaming... I thought I was crazy !!! ( Until, I watched tutorial ) VERY HELPFUL Bottom line, I was able to get my projects finished looking better than ever before.
Overall good- but at times it seems a bit rushed the whole thing- seemed more in depth the earlier tutorials from macprovideo.
