There's a simple fact about Logic: it's the simplest and most intuitive audio editor on the market! But like all software, you can't jump in running. To understand Logic, you need a guiding hand.
Martin Sitter designed and authored Apple's Level 1 Logic training. Based largely on routines developed for the classroom, Martin opens Logic to students in ways that only an expert educator can.
But don't trust us, trust others like you. If you really want to know what this program is like, read the reviews ... they really are the best indicator!

Absolutely wonderful instruction. As a retired music educator, I know good, sequential instruction when I see it, and this is top quality stuff.
There's a lot of material in the video training course and I haven't completed it yet, but so far most what I have watched are covering things that I already knew. I hope that the course will get more into how to set compressors and the other tools/plug-ins used for mastering. I did learn how to read some of the scopes and meters
This was the first tutorial from I purchased. On the strength of that I have since bought many, MANY more of them. Their standard is always exceptionally high and well presented. I turn to them often and heartily recommend them.
I recently made the switch from PC to Mac and had to give up Acid and Sound Forge for Logic. I stared at the arrange window for days trying to figure out what on earth I was looking at. So I got this tutorial and to tell you the truth, I haven't even finished it yet. After the first few tutorials I could do things I didn't even think possible with my old PC. I am so excited to see how much more I can learn about this great software. The tutorial is ridiculously easy to learn from. It is also well organized, so that if I forget something I learned, I can easily go back and find the lesson I need to repeat. And there is so much good information, you will definitely want to go back again and again. I was so impressed by macProVideo's tutorial that I bought 3 more a couple weeks ago. Thanks for helping me out guys!
I have all of the Logic 7 tutorials and I must say they are extremely helpful. Coming from Garageband into a Pro app is somewhat intimidating but with these tutorials it make the transition a lot smoother.
This started out really great. It was definitely worth the $45 to gain knowledge on something I had NO IDEA how to use. Only complaint is towards the end it started assuming the viewer already had knowledge in certain areas. The 'automating the mix' section was completely lost on me. Also, it just needs a chapter explaining how to use the EQ in more detail. I have never used an EQ of this style before and it was not explained how the funny digital graph interface works.
This was a nice one. Very helpful and understandable. If I missed something it was some more information about Appleloops. If it is possible to save edited/customised loops, and som troubleshooting on saving your own loops. I still cant do it. Yet, this video gave me just what it promised. a basic ounderstanding of Logic Pro. thanx.
Hi Martin. All the tutorial are eccellent; I'd like suggest only, for technical understanding, much more subtitles, also in english, with option to activate them or not. Thiss should be very useful for all people that don't understand well english. But the tutorials are great.
A must! With this you will get an overview of Logic. I like the fact that I can often refer to it in the middle of projects. Of all the Logic tutorials, this one is among my 3 best with 201 and 202 because you will use this for sure.
I attended "analog" recording school (approx. 90 hours of instruction) about 15 years ago. I didn't realize how challenging it would be to learn Logic on my own, I struggled for a year. then I stumbled upon MacProVideo - totally awesome -- I learned in an hour what took me a year on my own. I love the layout -- I can always reference sections with the drop down menus - very handy - jammed full of great info, tips and tricks - awesome --
besides the video abruptly ending without a good bye or something from the instructor, this video was excellent. concise even. i would, and do plan on purchasing the video on understanding the environment, ableton, reason, and if you have one on recycle and mixing hip hop, i would be interested in those too. Keep up the good work.
The tutorial is well organized and presented logically. The index is very handy to go back for quick review and each clip is the perfect length. Well done!
This is a must for those new to Logic and would be good for those who don't consider themselves experts. I wish I had known about this tutorial (and about MPV in general) when I first got Logic. How to use Logic's tools and interface is clearly explained - very nice. If you are looking for a shortcut on learning how to work with the tools and the GUI, this is it. About the only thing this tutorial left me wishing for is more coverage for Audio recording. Not just what you can use the tools for with them, but common problems encountered / mistakes made and how to avoid / not make them as well as creative uses of the tools with Audio recordings.
This was my first Tutorial and it was a super way to jumpstart my Mastering of Logic
Very good tutorial. Very informative and got me up and running in no time.
There are many positives about these video tutorials: they are easy to understand, broken into small chunks of info, easy to navigate, etc. There is a great amount of explanation for midi, which is great, if that's a direction you're headed in. I am a total newbie to Logic Pro and was hoping to find more information specific to recording multiple instruments simultaneously via firewire devices. I am also looking for more in-depth coverage of effects like parametric EQ, compressors/limiters/gates, etc. That said, this is a terrific resource and I hope it will continue to expand!
Really wonderful. Even if you work with Logic since 15 years there´s a lot of new things to discover. Thanks a lot. Achim
So far so good!!! I upgraded to Logic Studio right after I bought this tutorial and was so happy to learn that you also upgraded as well (and for free!!!). The lessons are very user friendly and I was very happy to discover some of the little secrets that make Logic a gem. Thanks a million!
Everything I have covered to this point has been helpful. I sought out help and found your tutorials because I was stumped in getting an Alesis Multimix 16 Firewire to work with Logic Express. Searching manuals for both was not helpful. I'm primarily interested in recording real instruments. The midi stuff and sampled sounds strike me as being glossy toys.
An excellent tool for realising the potential of LP7. Lots of new knowledge gained, and very well presented.
I haven't been through the whole tutorial yet but I think the format and the cadence are really quite good. I appreciate the positive demeaner of the instructor. For someone that learns best by seeing, not reading, this is a great way to go. I'm looking forward to the rest of the tutorial and hope there will be some more information regarding the actual hardware connections and physical set-up.
Martin Sitter did it again. Even for longtime users of Logic this is an insightful guide and reminder. I highly recommend it. Martin rules!
I have Logic 101 and Logic 8, 303 tips 'n tricks. Both videos have made my life a whole lot easier. I am a poor visual learner, but a great audio visual learner. The videos have saved me countless hours.
I have used a number of video learning tools over the years. I stumbled on yours a while ago, and am very impressed. I am in the process of learning Logic 7. So far, I am very happy.
I have been using recording programs for the past ten years and Logic for about three. I took some classes in Audio Engineering while studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Australia (using Pro Tools). While I have enjoyed using Logic, I never really explored it in detail, but since upgrading to Logic 8, I decided to buy the Logic Complete Bundle from MacProVideo and all I can say is WOW!!! Within moments I was learning crucial information for working with Logic. There is so much information in the tutorials that I have barely scratched the surface. If you are serious about learning how to use Logic, I think that these tutorials are quite simply a must. All things considered, I also think that it is excellent value for money!!! Thanks - Perhaps you'll hear a hit from me soon :-)
These Logic videos have been very helpful, indeed. The presenter is outstanding. I especially like the well organized, knowledgable and genuinely enthusiastic about the product.
I really, really enojoyed it. The instructor was incredible and very clear on everything. I will buy all my tutorials from here. Keep up the amazing work!
I think it was great. Its working fine and i have nothing to complain about.
I've only plowed through part of it but it's been very informative. It really is a good program and I'm looking forward to purchasing more tutorials. I don't know about that NED though.
I've been working with Logic for 5 years now and have never used a better tutorial than yours. It is nothing short of terrific. Thank you!
Excellent learning system. The trainer speaks very clear and to the point. He always stays in the topic. having the opportunity to see through the video the step by step process, I know it sounds cliche, but is like really having a teacher at home. I am very happy with the price as well. Excellent job guys!!!!!!!!
Excellent videos. Far more involving and far less dry than a wordy text. Full of useful tips. Easy-going style, and these don't annoy over extended viewing periods. If there's one thing that might be a useful extra, then perhaps a simple 'video contents' type section? Whereby all the menus are sequentially opened, and a quick summary of features followed by references to the 'chapters' you'll find them in? Otherwise, money well spent.
Excellent product and great value for the price. I have no suggestions for improving the existing content, other than perhaps shipping tutorial files and making the next rev of the video interactive. Other thoughts : - bundle the monthly tips and tricks into individually purchasable videos at the $5.95 price point? (not sure how long these are) - harvest topics from existing videos into individually purchasable units and market similar to above. Just my .02 Shaun
Really excellent and comprehensive tutorial on Logic fundamentals. Full of good information from someone who understands workflow from the inside out. These tutorials are excellent in particular for musicans who are focused on composition as well as recording and production -- Mastering Logic is great for showing you how to use it as a compositonal tool as well as a piece of recording software. Highly recommended to all levels of user.
I have used an extensive number of tutorial DVDs for a variety of purposes, and I can say with absolute certainty that Mr. Sitter is flawless in the medium of DVD training. With a friendly tone that lasts all those hours, and a very personalized way of delivering the course, he makes learning the basics of Logic not only a breeze, but a pleasure. And although to learn Logic's environment you'll need to purchase an additional course, he still satisfies your mind's craving by sneaking in some quick, informative tips. Excellent, effective teaching methods combined with comprehensive information make this DVD worth every penny! Thank you Mac Pro Video!!
When I first saw logic, I said this music daw looks too simple. When I got logic for the first time I found out looks can be very deceiving. The program seems like a brain twister. Thanks to Martin Sitter and the whole macprovideo crew, they made me a pro in no time. I realize with macprovideos people make some things more than what it is and macprovideos shows you what you see is really what it is. Great job guys
Very helpful with the basics. However, no information on mapping audio files to a keyboard for MIDI use, which was my cheif reason for purchase.
The above web site is what I do...well as for a review, I think these tutorials from what I have seen so far are excellent, very concise & extremely enlightening..on the strength of this one I have purchased a further 10 !! This music thing is a hobby now, having been a semi pro muso for many years, playing out with an 10 piece...blues & Jazz, bought a Mac & Logic Pro, Fireface 800 some 6 months ago done very little, found it quite hard goin...never exploiting Logic's powerful platform..until I found your tutorials...now I can get with being creative, without having to worry about the program..it is all begining to make sense Just great. Many thanks Be well you guys Jon
Mr. Sitter can be proud of his work. This was a very good tutorial for an old guy trying to learn something new. Something you do a good job on, and could continue to expand, is the "therefore what?" (i.e., what follows from what is being taught). For example, you might say that this feature does this and that button does something else and the whole thing glows in the dark. Therefore, what does that mean in terms of putting together a project? Why do I want to know that? How does it fit in with the other things I'm learning. I know that's a big balancing act, but it's something to keep in mind at a 101 level. Again, good job and thanks!
Love the logic 101 tutorials. They are easy to understand and I had no problems downloading and viewing the lessons. I only wish I had downloaded them sooner.
Exactly what I was looking for. I sampled a number of Logic Tutorial Videos - even subscribed to one who's price was too good to be true. This series hit the mark. No drawn out explanitions - quick to the point with full examples. Perfect.
Very informative the logic series are great the knowledge they hand out give you a licence to experiment with a purpose where would i be without them Thanks
An excellent and straightforward training course. I find visual learning of this type by far the best way to progress and to learn quickly. First class Martin. I will be back for other courses
As a music technology educator, I have reviewed numerous tutorial books and videos. This is by far the best tutorial I have ever used. The content and N.E.D delievery method are excellent. This training tutorial is absolutely superb. I personally bought this tutorial after reviewing the free demos. If all of the MacProVideos are of this same quality, I will use other tutorials as wel as highly recommending their products to others. Keith Mason Producer of: Music Tech for ME Podcast
Loving this so far, the tutorials are easy to follow and I love the way they are segregated into small chunks. This tutorial will help me enormously and I intend to move on to the next one thereafter! Neil
I recently tried your demo of Logic 7, and although I have a Ph.D. and have purchased and tried to make it though three books as well as the manuals, Logic did not really start to make sense until your demo. I have subsequently purchased the complete Logic package and look forward to becominng a Logic guru. By the way, my Ph.D. is in educational multimedia, so I have seen and evaluated a great deal of learning materials and your videos are some of the best I have seen. Sincerely, Malcolm (Mac) Smith, Ph.D.
Nice work Martin. Excellent instruction. My only criticism would be to add more examples and verbiage on using recorded midi tracks to send to external devices, be them drum modules, or midi keyboards and such and do the do the bouncing from midi to audio tracks.
I just purchased the bundle a few weeks ago. I am into my second week with the videos and I have to say that I am more proficient at Logic now than I ever was with Cubase. 2 friggen weeks! I even find it hard to believe but when I look back I am so far ahead using the Logic 101 tutorial that I wonder why I hadn’t used this method before to learn a complex program such as Logic. My learning is quite steep when you consider that it is also a first for me to be using a Mac. When some of the reviews read that this package should be bundled with Logic, it makes total sense. I simply can’t get through a manual without scratching my head and asking questions in a forum somewhere before I “get it” eventually days later. I think like many people, I am a visual learner and I need to see someone do it before it starts to click for me. For those that aren’t math professors and book worms (and even those guys too really) I highly recommend the Logic tutorials. The Logic 101 tutorial video to me was worth the price of the whole bundle. I can’t thank you guys enough.
I bought the Mastering Logic Pro 7 Yesterday, despite the fact that i'm using Logic Platinum 5.1 "For the PC!!". I had no problem with finding buttons and functions on the old PC version(5.1) compared to the newer Mac version (7). This package covers "EXACTLY" what they advertise!! It cleared up any fog I had understanding this software! This package is Extremely Clear and Well done! It is worth every single penny! Trust me! I'm now going to buy the Logic's Environment Explored to complete my knowledge of this great software!
Thanks in part to you and the 'Mastering Logic 7' bundle I have no problem doing a production start to finish at home. We have a record out now, and it;s doing quite well for being out just one month. (See http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/lindsayrwatson). I was able to use the Evoc vocoder (song #7. You Are Not The One) because of you guys because no one (and I mean no one) could teach me. Again MANY THANKS.
Sadly I wasted a few hundred pounds having personal tuition and on another product, which didnt get me very far. Instead now, with the Logic Producer bundle from these guys for under a hundred pounds I have all I need to get very far with Logic. The accessibility, presentation, graphics, delivery are all so easy to adapt to, that it not only helps you get started and setting up your environment properly, but also motivates you to do real stuff and make the most of your equipment. Then, after sale, email support was highly responsive. Be careful not to waste money elsewhere.
I'm sure you hear it all the time but just let me add my vote. You make the most unfathomable thing absolutely simple. One just doesn't run into that talent very often. Thanks very much for finally enabling me to use this program,
I bought the Logic Level 1 Collection two days ago. I thought I knew this application pretty well having used it for 3 years. I have to say I have learnt loads and loads of stuff especially about the Environment. As a teacher, I wholeheartedly recommend these training videos to anyone who wants to get to grips with Logic. Well done Martin!!
I've been struggling to get my head around Logic since version 5! I'm now on Version 7.1 and this video is without doubt THE yes THE most useful and helpful instruction manualI I have ever used, bar none! It really is that good. This dvd should be bundled with Logic! Truly. Thank you very much guys and could we have one for Melodyne 2.6?? Keep up the good work:-)
Martin - Logic in Apple's manuals is unlogical - Logic with your videos is VERY Logical (pun intended). You get 5 starts for how good it is and 5 more more for where it allowed me to go with using the app quickly and easily. Many thanks!
I have now watched nearly all of the macProVideo tutorials for Final Cut Pro and the Logic suite. They present an amazing amount of information edited down into a compact time-frame, with an emphasis on practical techniques and real-world applications. Although I had used both Logic and Final Cut before watching the tutorials, in many aspects of both programs I was a complete beginner, and your tutorials were accessible and intelligible to me from the start. On the other hand, I still found your tutorials to provide valuable insights in those aspects of both applications that I thought I knew the most about, and in many cases I watched them more than once. So the signal to noise ratio in these tutorials is huge, without being overwhelming for the beginner. The high resolution also makes the videos extremely easy on the eyes, so that one may focus on the instruction without being distracted. They are great to keep on hand to watch just before I attempt something new for the first time. I can't wait for the next modules to be released.... Congratulations, and keep up the great work!
I am a composer who is learning Logic. I am of the "old" school, I suppose you might call it—a traditionally trained musician who is making the (long and arduous) leap from manuscript paper and acoustic instruments to sequencer and orchestral samples (and gradually becoming a de facto audio engineer, I discovered). I have been using computers since the days of DOS and pre-Macintosh Apples, but Logic is by far the most difficult program I have ever encountered. Your tutorials are a welcome guide through this complex (and, in my opinion, feature-overladen) program. I mean, really, the submenus inside one Logic modular window often have more options than the entire menu collection of Photoshop or even Final Cut Pro. Anyway, I continue to persevere, and your tutorials help to see me through the more depressing dark spots that Logic inevitably puts in my path. Thanks for you help.
I am thrilled with the training series. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I Have learned more in a few hours than I have in the last 6 months using books or trying to figure things out on my own. I have also ordered the next series; Logic's Plug-ins. Great job!
You guys are awesome!!! My husband and I are into a lot of graphic and audio stuff so you will probably get more future orders. It is so refreshing getting such understanding and immediate attention when dealing with on-line orders. I've had nightmare experiences and this is certainly not one.
Your video is outstanding! From what I have watched so far, the video is very well done. Also, I was amazed by the 674 kb/sec that I downloaded at. I have never seen a 500 meg plus file download in 15 minutes before!
Overall the videos are among the best I've ever seen presented, not just in content , but how it's presented and with a voice thats easy to listen to and sounds interested and passionate about the discussion topic . So often training videos sound like the instructor is board out of his/her tree and couldn't be bothered.
Thank you Nonlinear Educatin. I have bought your video, I think they are awsome. The sound is amazing clear and the resolution is super high. All key points, no rubbish talk, all right on the target! You understand recording musians and students needs: we want to make music instead of reading whole 1000 pages manul. I get more knowledges from these video than I spended one semister at school. I will recommand all student and recording artist get these videos!
Wow these tutorials are simply amazing !!! Extremly well explained and easy to follow . I whish this had come out before Key buy of the year for me !!!! Thx again to the whole mac-pro-video team
Just had to let you know.... its the best thing i have ever bought it has helped me so much thank you
Have bought both Mastering Logic and Understanding Logics Environments and I have to say that they have been a godsend in learning the package quickly enough to swap formats from Sonar and still keep up with my recording commitments.
I am Wayne Kramer. I guess I am best known as a member of the MC5 but today the bulk of my work is music for film and television. I added Logic to my studio to improve my workflow and have learned a great deal from your series. Most of the video tutorials I have seen in the past are beyond boring and impractical to use in a work environment. Your videos are practical for day-to-day use and have helped me a great deal. My engineer friends appreciate not getting endless calls that start with how do I... Thanks for the useable tools. Good work Martin.
I already know much more than I did this time yesterday.........very deep program and I can see that experience will count a lot. Looking forward to getting my order of your book and CD in the mail soon........although fast paced I like the way you take time on each subject. Looking forward to expand my knowledge of mixing, use of plugins etc.
I watched them all Sunday and I find them very good. I am very new to Mac and Logic, (I worked on PCs mostly with Cubase SX before... But I had to move, because Cubase SX3 is not sample accurate while recording MIDI and audio through audio cards with different I/O latency). So your videos will save me a lot of time which I can spent on recording and mixing instead of reading the manual all the time! I willdefinitely post a link to your videos at www.01xray.com/forums I am sure some users will find them veryusefull too (and I am not alone who is moving from Cubase to Logic :-).
I've been a logic 5 user for some years now, but am very happy to learn the newer features plus fill in the gaps that I missed not being technically savvy. I am very impressed by what I've viewed so far and have learned a number of new things. I'll definitely be ordering your Logic for Video Editors when I've got my head around the material I have now. Thanks again for your great work in this area, I'll spread the word to fellow logic users.
Today I watched parts 1 and 2 of the Mastering Logic videos, and I think you did a FANTASTIC job putting these videos together. If I ever meet anyone who needs to learn Logic, I'll make sure to point them to your website.
Martin, thanks so much for the terrific training videos on Logic 7. They are fantastic and I would recommend them to anybody. I have tried the Csi dvd's and the difference is night and day! I would like to know if you would recommend your book on Logic to complement the video, and if so, do you have a pdf version you could sell me? (It's easier tp print out 1 chapter at a time and take it to and from work etc) I'd be happy to pay the regular price for that the book sells for.
I just wanted to let you know that I am extremely happy with the Logic tutorials. They are very well presented and get right down to the most important concepts that people need to understand.
I thought your book on Logic was great but your video course makes things even easier. I never thought i would understand this stuff being pretty much a live gigging jazz keyboardist and it's happening largely thanks to your approach.
Before I invest in an audio software application I acquire a tutorial on it to see if it will be for me. After all these programs aren't cheep. I checked out some demo tutorials on Logic over the past few years but the teachers made it seam way too complicated for me, so I held off getting into it. Recently I started to look at Logic again ( I needed a DAW program with some instruments) and stubbled across Martin Sitters tutorial course and went through the modules, I thought, man this doesn't seem to scary, I think I can handle this. Don't get me wrong, Logic is a real heavy application but Sitters teachings make this program very understandable. Needless to say, after I saw his tutorials I went and purchased Logic Pro 7 and now work Logic with Martin's Videos not too far away, for when I have to "stick up my hand and ask the Teacher". But if you prefer, Logic supplies over 1300 pages of manual instruction you can dig into or you can listen and watch a Logic Master guide you through it all. The choice is yours.
Thanks, Martin! I just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying this training series. Your teaching style is very comfortable and easy to understand, and it's helped me get a much better start with Logic than I had with Pro Tools LE a few years ago! Now if only you'd do a series specifically geared toward recording, mixing and getting the best sound out of your gear (covering the secrets of EQ, compression, and other studio magicness), I'd be in heaven!
I just want to tell you how great the Logic Training Series is! A nice complement to your book which is a godsend gift compared to Logic's awful getting started and user manual... I'm amazed at how you make complicated things easy to understand...you really know your stuff mate!! That's the best computer based training I've ever bought...well paced and builds ground up! The only regret I have is that I'm only using Logic Express and the more I read the book and watch the movies...the more I want to get those nifty little tricks/tools/instruments that are available only in Logic Pro! ARRRGGHHH!!! ;-)
have downloaded my copy once and have begun to explore the tutorials and they are excellent. Thank you so much for the time you have invested in them. It has made what would be a very complicated experience for me much easier. I am really looking forward to stepping up from Garageband and I can thank you for making the experience as simple and easy as it could possibly be. I am a musical hobbyist. I am an English Head Teacher and use music in my classroom, especially during poetry writing units. I write my own songs and perform them with classes and on assemblies. In the classroom I get kids to bring in their favourite lyrics, we listen to the songs, we analyse their lyrics and I get them to write their own lyrics as well. I have turned student lyrics into original songs in the past but have not had the opportunity to record them. Now that I have Garageband and Logic Express I am able to get lyrics that students have written and turn them into recorded songs. I am about to do my first one in the next month or so. As you can imagine, it is a pretty powerful experience for them. Thanks to you and your tutes, I should be sailing with Logic Express in no time!
was able to download the file and watched some of the Logic videos tonight and have picked up a few good tips already, particularly with the screensets. I knew what they were but I'd never used them before.
I'm enjoying the Logic 7 training video so much that I anxiously now anticipate the next installment every week! I'm an educator myself and know what it takes to teach well. You are doing a wonderful job with your Videos and I thank you for it.
I like to tell you, that I enjoyed module 2 very much... I also studie through you book; every day a few hours and every time, over and over I learn a lot. You have a very nice way to write down things and explain them. Here in the Netherlands there are a few schools for Logic. One have to pay almost Euro 900 for three days of instructions and your book. I can't / will not afford that lot of money and believe that your book and your video lessons are even better because I can study them over and over again.
Your tutorial video is one of the best I have ever seen. It explains everything in detail like I wanted in plain english. Especially helpful for those people that are just starting with software stuff, Thanks so much.
Thanks for solving the mystery of the functions of Logic Pro ! I was getting nowhere quickly with the complex manuals I was reading. Now after only a couple of modules its starting to make sense.
Just watching Module 3 of the training now, and it has really made an incredible difference for me already. This training has given me a MAJOR jumpstart on this program -- the training content is exactly what I needed. I also just received my Mackie Logic Control today, so I am having a great day.
I just wanted to say, as a total novice, that the videos are interesting, useful, and chock full of layers of info. Thank you for your efforts.
These tutorials that you're doing are great! I'm kind of new to midi editing so the first set was a little over my head but now I'm really getting it- you really explain things well.
This is the best video lessons I have ever used, and I try to use as many as there are for the programs I have. Your voice and easy understanding of the program gives me an extreme jump on learning this very complicated program. Thanks again, looking forward to all the rest of your shows.
Just a quick note to thank you for the effort you've put into the Logic videos. Over the past month I've been in a crunch effort to learn Logic and they have proved to be extremely helpful in getting me up and running. I've also got both Apple Training Logic books. I've read yours and in time I will read the advanced book. But for me it has certainly been the case that seeing techniques demonstrated in video is a much easier and quicker way to learn. I'm really excited to be using Logic and I'm already putting to use many of the techniques you teach in the videos.
I am amazed at the amount of useful information in you Logic 7 complete training course. I've spent nearly 20 years in commercial production working with such companies as Walt Disney, Compaq, The Discovery Channel and Universal Studios and I have taught Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools TDM classes at Nashville State Tech Community College and Country Music Television and I wish I had, had your skill of organizing and extremely clear way of explaining the material. The amount of information offered gave me the confidence to really dive into the program and start working. I'm a huge fan and will purchasing many more products from MacProVideo. I would also like to promote your training modules to the local Nashville professional market.
We live in a world full of big companies trying to make more and more money, and sometimes it just becomes too much. I get sick of it. When I come across people like you i just feel like my money was spent right. Your customer service so clear and so fast just doesnt exist any more. Thanks a lot! I wish I could find products like yours all over the place.
I am learning so much from these module tutorials on Logic 7. Thank you for putting them out. For me, this is 100 times better than trying to learn from a book.
I watched your first two modules yesterday, and have to say how impressed I was at the content and delivery of this presentation! I made nearly five A4 pages of notes which concerned topics which greatly enlightened me, despite the fact that I have been a logic user for at least six years!!! I appreciated the painstaking explanation of sub menu options etc, and found your comments regarding many dos and don'ts very helpful. I cannot wait for the next module!......
I'm a professor at Tufts University at the Boston campus and I already have your book on Logic Pro / Logic Express. I've been a PC person since the early days of personal computers and was using Cubase. Last winter I bought my first Mac, Powerbook 15, and loaded it up with 2GB of ram and Logic Express (I should have bought Pro). Your book was truly a fantastic help in getting me up and running very quickly in Logic. Having the prior Cubase experience helped as well, but the examples in your book are so clear and straightforward - I wish I could find a graduate level statistics text that was as well put together as your book on Logic. Now that I have the videos I can review the stuff that is hard to remember while I'm at Starbucks sipping a coffee.
When I first saw the price $39.50 I was thinking that this could never be an in depth tutorial and I will probably getting a couple of short movie clips explaining me how to start and stop logic via shortcuts. Boy was I wrong! I've been soaking up Logic Pro 7 for 4 hours now and can't get enough of it. Automation, mastering and mixing tips, plugins, quantizing tricks, hidden features, recording.. I could go on but I just let Martin to it ;)
I am SO HAPPY to have found your site. I acquired Logic approximately one week ago, and have been disappointed with the reference manuals. Your videos are FANTASTIC. They are exactly what I need. I watched the first two this morning before going to work and have been thinking about them all day... I have been anxiously awaiting to get home to watch more of them. Your format is the BEST way of instruction. I cannot believe that there has been relatively little discussion regarding your videos on the message boards (perhaps there is... but my brief time on the boards has yielded very little productive learning for someone at my stage of being a Logic newby). (Editor's Note: Here's a link to some Apple forum testimonials ... Click Here ... Thanks David!) Congratulations on an excellent product. Your product should do very well... especially when others begin to hear about it.
Hello Martin, I wanted to thank you again for your generous donation of your training materials to our organization. As I am beginning to learn Logic, I have really come to appreciate them. They're just the right blend of hand holding and hand pulling. Facing the intimidating prospect of learning this complex program, your videos make it seem instantly familiar. Everything is so well articulated and explained - you've really put together a fantastic package. Thank you so much. Best Regards
I manged to download all 3 Logic programs very smoothly to Pakistan. The downloads were a lot faster then what I expected (as we dont have very stable internet connections) loved them, very explantory. For me its like heaven having these videos because i m the only one in this country using logic on a Mac with no tech support or anyone who can troubleshoot or do traning, so u can imagine the level of deprivation. But after watching these tutorials I feel like a pro ;-)
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is L Leon Pendarvis. And, along with several other things, I'm one of the musical directors, and house band conductor of the Saturday Night Live TV show. Secondly, let me HIGHLY commend you on your Logic video tutorials. I'm finding them extremely well done, quite informative, and entertaining.
It has been a long journey for me as a former Apple employee, I made the decision to take my career to the next level and travel from Florida to California to become a certified trainer. I have had 5 years of experience with Logic and I simply could not have passed the "Big" exam without Martin's videos. The things I most enjoyed were that Martin is very clear and well spoken, even if I had little or no experience with Logic, it would have been a pleasure to watch the videos. I appreciate the diligence that was put into making them and look forward to more in the future. Since I have become a certified Logic trainer my career and my life have taken a turn for the better. Two months after the test I have made steady progress as a trainer and I am teaching at Invisiondigital near Universal Studios Orlando! What a job! I can now say that I do what I love and I love what I do! Sincere thank you to Martin Sitter for you continued support! P.S. The customer service at Macprovideo is AWESOME too! keep up the great work!
