Steinberg has done it again with this new and improved version of their awesome music creation DAW, and our in-house expert, Matthew Hepworth guides you through an exploration of all the new features that have been added to Cubase 6.5. Whether you're an experienced user or are about to take your first flight aboard Steinberg's amazingly versatile DAW, this tutorial will get you up to speed fast so you can make the most out of all the cool new stuff!

While still on the runway, Matt explains how to run Cubase 6.5 in 64-bit mode! As you take off and start your journey, you'll learn all about the new Comping tool and how easy it is to combine the best parts of your musical performances. Quantization is up next and you'll soon become airborne as you watch Matt line up the timings of both audio and MIDI tracks side by side! No need to go to a different instrument panel, it's all there at your fingertips.

You're now cruising above those beautiful sonic clouds and are ready to look at the 2 cool new virtual synths: Retrologue and Padshop and see how easy it is to tweak sounds using filters and amplifiers to design your own cool soundscapes. Then “Commander” Matt demystifies the new DJ-EQ and MorphFilter VST plug-ins.

As we start our descent, you'll learn how and why you might want to use the FLAC audio format. And, just as we touch down, Matt shows you how easy it is to publish your Cubase project to SoundCloud. So, sit back, relax, and take flight with "Captain" Hepworth as your instructor and guide, and learn all there is to know about Cubase 6.5!
